Leveling elements are used to provide a level, stable base for machinery or equipment, one that limits tipping, vibration, wear and noise. Under normal operating conditions, bending loads or angular loads are not uncommon and result in a reduction of the load capacity, which must be taken into consideration.

For higher loads, leveling feet can be used in conjunction with screws of a higher tensile strength. Recommended are dog point socket set screws. The dog point must be seated squarely at the bottom of the threaded hole, which will increase the load capacity of the ball in the socket.

Leveling feet have a conductive plastic / rubber cap that prevents electrostatic charging. The ESD conformity has been tested and approved.
